Johann Südtiroler Blauburgunder Doc 2013

Grape variety: Pinot Noir (Blauburgunder-Pinot nero)
Vineyard location: Sloping sites of our vineyard in Girlan(435 m a.s.l.) and from a 600 m a.s.l. rolling hill close to Bolzano. Several varieties of french plants(clon) of vines.
Coltivazione: Guyot
Yield: 45 hl/ha(ha=2,47acre)
Vinificazione: fermentazione in serbatoi d´acciaio a temperatura controllata.
Harvest: Mid – end of september
Winemaking: The fermentation process lasts about one week, using temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. During this process the important ingredients of the grapes are carefully extracted using the own CO2.

ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS:

Colour: Dense ruby
Aroma: Explosion of fruit reminiscent of woodland berry, violets, vanilla and sour cherry
Flavour: Full bodied with fine and harmonius tannins, elegant on the palate with fruit sweetness.
Serving raccomandations: Grilled meat, roasts, game and mature chesses.
Serving temperature: 18°-20°C(F 64,4-68)
Alcohol: 13% by Vol.

LAGREIN DELL’ALTO ADIGE Doc

Grape variety: Lagrein (native red grape)
Vineyard location: from the classic growing area in Gries, a district of Bolzano, and from the south of Alto Adige, emphasized by deep alluvial soils consisting of sand and debris such as granit and porphyr. The hot microclimate found in this particular valley basin is an ideal mix for a superb Lagrein wine.
Vine-growing: Guyot
Yield: 60hl/ha(ha=2,47 acre)
Winemaking: Aging: In selected large Slovenian oak casks
Harvest: Mid-October

Colour: Dark garnet with violet reflexes

Grape variety: Schiava (native grape from Alto Adige)
Vineyard location: Hillside vineyards from San Paolo (450 mt.above sea level) neighbour village from Cornaiano.
Vine-growing: Pergola
Yield: 80 hl/ha(ha=2,47acre)
Aging: Temperature controlled stainless steel tanks.
Harvest: End of september
Winemaking: The fermentation process lasts about one week, using temperature controlled stainless steel tanks followed by malolactic fermentation and four months’ refinement in tank.

ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS:

Colour: Bright pale ruby
Aroma: Fruity on the nose, with aromas reminiscent of red summer fruits and cherry.
Flavour: secco,vellutato, corposo, piacevole e stimolante

Winemaking: The fermentation process lasts about one week, using temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. During this process the important ingredients of the grapes are carefully extracted using the own CO2.Subsequently the juice terms the fermentation in 50hl oak casks.
