The Classics
From the names to the terroirs, the wines of the Classic Line reflect the centuries-old history of the Josef Weger estate — a harmonious blend of past tradition and present innovation.
The grapes come from vineyards located in various areas of the South Tyrolean wine-growing region, reaching up to 600 meters above sea level. The wine names are classic too, ranging from Ancient Greek references to German, recalling both the origins of viticulture and the Josef Weger estate. Both in naming and in winemaking, the aim is to express the authenticity and typical character of the region. The wines are vinified partly in oak barrels and partly in stainless steel tanks.
